Welcome to UVCC/ DCYO! 

At Ridgecrest, we believe that Music provides a necessary aspect of Education.  Because of this belief, all Ridgecrest students participate in either choir or orchestra, and we open these programs to students in the community as well! Our students, in turn, get to share their talents with our community through our various performances. 

We use the renowned Suzuki method for orchestral and choral instruction. The Suzuki Method is unique in its approach in that it begins instruction at a young age, and it teaches music using the "mother-tongue approach", meaning that students learn music the way a child learns their native language from their mother.
